manitou dorados, only personal experience I've had of manitou is a splice kingpin fork 170mm, which was a piece of crap, but that was an old fork and any magazine reviews and the like have nothing bad to say about the dorados except the price

The Doardo has NOTHING, I repeat, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in common with the Kingpin. Not even the same company really. The Dorado is an awesome fork, deffinately as good if not better than its competition. The Carbon Dorados were pricey, the alloy versions are right on par with 40s.
