Spend your Summer building trails in the Kootenays.

The Kootenay Columbia Trails Society is accepting applications for full-time positions on our 2007 summer trail-building crew, based in Rossland B.C. from mid-May through mid September. Remuneration based on experience and responsibility.

We are seeking workers with the following attributes:

•Trail building experience.
•Knowledge of the local trail network.
•A high level of physical fitness.
•Chainsaw operating experience.
•Brush-saw operating experience.
•First Aid certification (Level 1 WCB minimum).
•Trail user (hiking and/or mountain biking) experience.
•Carpentry / Construction experience.
•Communication skills and work ethic.
•A valid driver's license.

kootneys has so much amazing riding this must be why. the bikign comunity there must be amazing.

If your asking how old you have to be, your probably not old enough.

You should be 16, as you may be expected to drive to some of the worksites.

considering that they are building trails that i imagine are not far but still not very uh close to walk to to you might want to get a vehicle i would love to do this problem is I have never ridden there no first add no carpentry skills so it makes it hard
