why was it disappointing?

flag jonnyboy (Sep 28, 2009 at 16:44)
the low budget was evident.. some nice segments but just not edited well ebnough to be great.. wait for life cycles.. that will make NWD 10 look like a school project.

Premire in Vegas was kind of lame. Started late, to freakin loud, and Bared for Life was better. Just my Two Cents....

If the music is too loud your too old!! Just playing. I am with you. The last couple disorders were much better.

flag martins (Sep 29, 2009 at 15:47)
I agree with sliptn, it was a crap event, started 3 hours after the doors opened, the video screen was a loop of the NWD sponsors (how about showing last years video or anything else), beers were $8 a bottle, the volume was insane, and then they wondered why so many ran to the exits as soon as the film was done... The band was pretty good though!
Most of the industry guys who I was with had to be up early for the next day of the trade show and left before it started.
Worst NWD Vegas premier I've been to.

Well you won't have to sit through any more NWD premiers, it was the last one. Just enjoy it for what NWD has been... 10 cool years of freeride mountain cycling.

Are you kidding? Ill give you that the collective has better shots, but you cant beat NWD for action. They know how to do it big.

Just wish they did a premier in Ontario, a Toronto premier would be dope.

flag whistlerrider20 (Sep 30, 2009 at 14:43)
The collective is more into the shots and the production quality. Biking movies aren't made by just having big hits and loud rock music.

flag spoiledgoods (Sep 30, 2009 at 15:03)
NWD10 is ALOT more then just big hits and loud rock music. If thats what your anticipating, you will be blown away!

NWD 10 (aka. Red Bull Riders aka. Red Bull Commercial)

No spono from Whistler this year, no Crankworx footage : (

WTF was that? It wasn't bad but it wasn't the send off to the NWD series it should of been.

flag alybear (Oct 8, 2009 at 0:03)
I imagine there wasn't any Crankworx footage because it was a major letdown compared to last year.
