Race Face Inks Aaron Chase to 2-year Sponsorship

Race Face Performance Products, a global leader in premium mountain bike components, apparel and protection, has signed legendary freerider Aaron Chase to a two-year sponsorship deal.

Chase, a preeminent figure in the realm of dirt jumping, street, and freeriding will be kitted-out in Race Face clothes, armor, and componentry.

“Aaron’s a virtual legend in mountain biking,” said John Pentecost, Race Face’s Component & Protection Marketing Manager. “Having lived on the east coast of the U.S. for the past 15 years, it’s been a pleasure to watch Aaron’s career take off from a local hero who dominated observed trials and DH races, to an international figure who has redefined mountain biking in so many ways. He’s a perfect fit as a representative for Race Face, and we’re looking forward to working with him.”

For Chase, the feeling’s mutual: "I'm stoked to be riding Race Face. They've been 100% dedicated to the sport since day one and have amazing products across their hard and soft goods lines. Of course, having Tippie as a teammate will for sure mean good times are ahead," says Chase. "And these guys are open to listening to all my crazy product and design ideas . . . what more could I ask for?!"

Chase was born and raised in Belmont, NH and grew up riding the East Coast. He’s been featured in more than 20 films throughout his career, and counts 1st place finishes in the Red Bull Bike Battle and Red Bull District Ride as some of his top competition results. Chase is best known for his unique and technical style of riding, and finding creative lines that few others would ever consider. Although he does most of his riding these days at Highland Mountain Bike Park in Northfield, NH, he makes his home in New Jersey with his wife, Kara, and daughter Kendall.

To keep up with Aaron, follow him on Twitter @chaselife or his Facebook page: www.facebook.com/aaronchase17.

Aaron is a pretty chill kind of guy. Ive had a conversation with him at Highland mtb park and he has a pretty laid back and cool kind of biking attitude. I like it, good for him.

Ya mon give Chase whatever he wants, true pioneer in bmx-mtb style. He puts alot of bmxers to shame and thats not easy these days. I used to roll with him, or at least try at Diablo and sometimes Platty. Don't really see him out there any more because he traveling alot and usually hang out at Highland. All the best to him, he inspired soo many riders.

I'm stoked to have Aaron Chase on the team! He is an unbelievable rider, very professional and a great guy. He adds legitimacy to the Raceface brand and I'm sure he's got some great ideas on R&D too! We're gonna have some fun for sure! Welcome aboard Aaron!
