Transition Bikes Rolls With The Camp of Champions
May 21, 2008Published by bruleThe Camp of Champions is pleased to announce that Transition Bikes will be rolling with the camp this summer. “I'm so stoked to welcome a small, rider owned company to camp that shares the same philosophy and passion for biking as we do.” says COC owner and director, Ken Achenbach. “Plus I can't wait to ride their bikes this summer!”
For COC campers it means that they will have the opportunity to ride Blindsides and Bottle Rockets while getting coached in the Whistler Bike Park and the Air Dome. Having a bike that suits your riding style is huge - it makes learning so much easier. Having Transition Bikes at COC for campers to ride means there is another option in each camper's quest for “The Perfect Bike”.  Transition will also be giving away tons of prizes every week, including frames, components, clothing and more, and some of their factory riders will joining the COC coaching crew, including BC native slopestyle slayer, Trent Kidd.  The Camp of Champions summer mountain bike camp hosts 4 weeklong sessions in the Whistler Bike Park from June 21 – July 19. Every camper receives a custom full-face helmet from TSG and are featured in daily Pro Photo shoots. We actually don't use Kona rental bikes, thats is Summer Gravity Camp. The Camp of Champions rolls with Norco, Transition and Banshee. All our bikes are spec'd wiith Straitline components.
Sounds like a sick camp. To bad you gotta pay almost $2000..I would love to ride whistler.
well i was thinking about doing the camp this summer and would have loved to do so, but.... for that money you can buy a lot of lift tickets so i ended up buying myself a Bottlerocket and just taking it up to whistler with my friends
i might be going if i get straight a's to that camp it would be a blast!!!
Camp of Champions sounds a bit like fat kids camp
