Interbike 2008 - Dakine Packs and Gloves

Posted: Oct 8, 2008

Dakine of Hood River Oregon make products for us cyclists that enhance our riding pleasure. We're not talking components here, we're talking Hydration packs, Gloves, tail gate covers, traveling bike bags, and the all important Trail Builders pack. They want to help you enjoy your riding experience at home or abroad.

Check inside for a look at the new packs and gloves from Dakine:

The fine folks at Dakine have been making cycling packs for some time now and it's all out of a need for having a pack that suits different riding styles. From the all new AMP series for the All Mountain riders, to the Apex for the rider that likes to carry their armor to the top along with everything else they need for an epic day of descents, to the Builder's pack for the guy out there maintaining and building the trails you and I enjoy, Dakine has your back covered.

Just check this picture to see what I think of Dakine gear. Ya I have a few pieces from the collection.

Dakine's glove line up continues to evolve and expand for 2009. From the all mountain, slip-on style Step-Up (MSRP $35.00) to the warm weather Ventilator (MSRP $35.00), the collection features updated favorites as well as the new Storm Rider. The Storm Rider has a longer cuff for cold weather riding with a Gore Tex® insert and waterproof shell for the ultimate in breathability and protection from the elements.

I love dakine as much as nebody, but their glove fit blows. the fingers are ALL too short, none of the employees at my shop can fit into these freak finger gloves. they need to get normal people to test these glove fittings with normal finger sizes.
