Interbike 2008 - Avid Elixir CR Brakes

2009 marks a new series of brakes for Avid with the Elixir models. The Elixir line up uses TaperBore technology to harness and control the brake's power. User friendly adjustments are also a hot topic with these brakes.

Interbike 2008 - Tomac Primer 220

The name Tomac is synonymous with racing and winning when it comes to mountain biking. Johnny T did it all back in the day - he raced road, XC, Dual and Downhill and he kicked a lot of asses at all these disciplines. Through his knowledge and experience, along with his good buddy Doug Bradbury's abilities, Tomac bikes was born.

For 2009, RockShox has taken their already great Reba and redesigned it from the ground up and added a 20mm MAXLE Lite option too. 26" and 29" options, are also rolling out.

The current year is 2008, we're at Interbike to learn about the 2009 products and here is RockShox unveiling their 2010 Boxxer forks. What?! Ya that's right, you've seen the Syndicate, Sam Hill and even Kenny Smith on them already, but soon you too will be able to be rolling on the newest Boxxers.

Interbike 2008 - Dakine's new Clothing line

Dakine is best known in the mountain bike world for their packs and gloves, but for 2009 they have launched a full line up of clothes for us riders. They have had jerseys in the mix for a few seasons, but now the shorts are following suit and creating some really nice kits. We were able to wrangle up Dakine team riders Geoff Gulevich and Emily Johnston for a fashion photo shoot at the indoor show.

Every year the Outdoor demo at Interbike grows and more ventures seem to be present to show their wares. This year I was going through some pics and videos and wanted to share a few things with you. Interbike 2008 - Fox Racing Shox

Interbike 2008 - Rocky Mountain Flatline

At last year's Interbike show, Rocky Mountain unveiled their new DH platform - the Flatline. Since that time, the bike has gained quite a following from the gravity crowd and I've even seen an all new Geoff Gulevich signature model frame that will be out in a few months.

Interbike 2008 - Rocky Mountain Altitude 90 RSL

Rocky Mountain bikes have re-introduced the Altitude for 2009 and it is replacing the long running ETSX series from them. They have classified the Altitude as XC / Marathon, but after talking with Simmons and going for a ride with Andreas Hestler, I say that this is one heck of an All Mountain machine.

Interbike 2008 - Banshee Rune

Banshee Bikes has a long history in making bikes that are good for sending it and holding up to amazing amounts of abuse. The Rune adds a new element to that package as you can pedal the Rune all over and still charge the descents. With the Rune, Banshee has really entered the trail bike market with a beauty of a machine.
