Knolly is proud to announce our 2009 team roster. Joining our returning team members Ryan Berrecloth and Ross Measures are Riley McIntosh and Alan Crisp. Riley is an exceptional trail builder whose creations have been featured in numerous films. Look for Riley in some of the exciting film projects coming out this season. Alan is a positive ambassador for the sport both on and off the bike through his unbridled enthusiasm for all facets of the sport. Originally from Australia Alan now calls the North Shore home and tallied up some solid race results last season. Alan will be representing the Knolly team on the race circuit this season. 2009 World Cup Round One - DH Finals!

It is the evening of the 1st round of the World Cup series here in South Africa and the dust is finally setting on the 4km track in Greg’s hometown of Pietermaritzburg.

This was an odd track for the 1st round but it was to provide some really exciting moments with various results for the competitors. Everyone was unveiling their new kit and bikes so there was a lot of hustle and bustle around the pit lane for the 1st few days. With some brand new teams emerging and a lot of riders moving teams, it was going to be difficult to predict how the top 5 elite men would pan out on Sunday afternoon.

The end to another winter season is near and to finish it off in style the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Bike Park and the Alberta Downhill Racing Association are hosting the fifth annual Melt Freeze Cup, a Downhill Mountain Bike Snow Race, on April 11th 2009. The race is just one of the many great events happening over the Sun Splash Funk Fest weekend.

Martin Söderström wins Vienna Air King 2009

The best dirt jumpers from all over Europe, the United States and Australia celebrated the beginning of the contest season during the Vienna Air King on April 4th and 5th. The 19 year old Swedish young gun Martin Söderström showed the most stunning tricks and became first. Paul Basagoitia from Minden, USA, secured himself the PANASONIC-Best-Trick-Competition with an excellent 360 tailwhip on the step down at Vienna Air King’s starting tower.

Van Dine wins Continental DH title in Chile, Follows with Megavalanche Win in Peru!

Chris Van Dine must feel like a conquistador bringing home so much gold from South America. Van Dine racked up back to back wins over the past two weeks, first at the Continental (Pan-American) Championships in Chile and then at the Megavalanche in Peru.

It's hard to believe that filming for New World Disorder 10 is already underway. Freeride's Brad McGregor teamed up with Darren Berrecloth for the first shoot of the season in Utah and the Claw did not disappoint. He is charging! Cam Zink is recovering from knee surgery but drove over from Reno to build some lines for filming later on this season. He even busted out his bike for a few test rides and his knee held up good. Here's a look at what the boys got up to in the desert.
