Tyler from twenty6 and I ran into each other while wandering the halls and he had some sick new things to show me. First off is the limited edition chrome pedal, followed up by my new favorite looking pedal that resembles wood. The wood pedal is so rad to see - take a good look at them. He also has a brand new Boxxer standard direct mount stem for the masses.
We first saw the Yeti ASR 7 at last year's outdoor demo, but this was my first real close look at the new Yeti. I can't wait to ride one in the future as I know that the Lefty fork works great, so I want to see how strong a bike with one rear stay is. I have a feeling that Yeti did a lot of homework before releasing this one though. One of my top pics from the show for sure.
Elka is a small Canadian company that specializes in making suspension products to make you go faster. With a rich history in ATV, MOTO X and other gas powered sports, they have taken the step into MTB and I am so looking forward to getting my greasy paws on one of their rear shocks for my winter DH rig build up! It's gonna be sick!
Rolling up to Interbike, a lot of hype was centered around who was going to be working with Dave Weagle and his amazing DW link for the 2009 season. The web rumors were silenced when Turner Bikes sent out their press release with all the juicy details. I know that we have already shown you pics, but I personally can't get enough of this machine.
Sombrio is in their 10th year as a company and the fresh designs and ideas keep on flowing out to the riders. The new booth had a nice open feel that was welcoming and made you want to check out the new gear. Sombrio's clothing line doesn't end at t-shirts and shorts. You can fully cloth yourself whether you are a guy or a gal, Sombrio has a riding and casual kit for you.
Please visit www.sombriocartel.com to check out the whole line.
GT's new Fury is causing quite the buzz around the internet. Looking forward to seeing them in action this year.
They say you can't go to Vegas with out doing a bit of gambling, so Darcy Turenne and I sat down in the plane terminal with $5 each. I lost all mine and Darcy came out on top. Vegas takes your money and your soul!

that intense jump bike looks so hot!
its NOT a jump bike... its a race bike. It feel horrible when you go jumping on it because the chain-stays are too long and the angles have only racing in mind, not dirt jumping... really hard to sping and flick around.
Yeti plays with fire. Santa Cruz gonna take a really close look at it, with two links rotating in the opposing direction...
it took me a bit t get how the yeti rear shock set up worked but its good now, should be good, the m6 is sexy as

Wow that vid comes right on time. It's the Rise Against show tonight in Montreal and now I'm all psyched up for it!!!
your sooooo lucky, i would give my right kidney to watch rise against live!, and savior is the best song from appeal to reason, it would be awesome if they come to mexico someday
ya i saw them in vancouver last month. they were sick as hell! my voice was non-existent after the show. haha
i dont mean to come off as an intense hater. they are actually really cool bikes. but i don't exactly understand the company. i mean originially they made some really trick shtuff back in the 90's but then they started using licensed out suspension designs! first FSR now VPP. but what i feel is worse is that they go further than that! look at the M5/M6 in comparison to the V10. when santa cruz changed the V10 to make it lighter. so did Intense. the frame looks very similar. much lighter toptube etc... but it even goes as far as the bracing from the end/back part of the toptube/seat tube (not sure how to descrbe it. basically where the shock mounts up) now on the 07 v10 and the M5 it wasn't like that but rather beifed up aluminum. now it has the 2 parallel braces JUST like the new-ish (08&09) V10. on top of that their socom is very much like the Vp Free (now canceled) and so on. the Geometry is VERY close in both bikes.
im not hating. or dissing intense they are still rad.
thats MY personal ideas. and im just throwing them out there. I AM NOT LOOKING TO FIGHT SO IF YOU WANT TO. PLEASE BACK OFF, IM NOT INTERESTED

They've been co-developing for years with S.C. Steber then takes the basic design and tweeks it to his taste and customer base
Finally someone using these forums for a real conversation, not bullshit. but i guess thats what you get when you place that many 13 year olds on one site. Jwmbike14 i agree and respectively disagree, the suspension designs that are available are limited any new ideas are shot down by a big company who has a similar design. So intense didn't have much of a choice leasing suspension designs. I think scotts new design is going to greatly increase the designs coming out which is the best thing that could happen, "Diversity". that will only help other company's get started and new ideas flowing.

So In what situation exactly would you wan't an M6 and when would you want the Socom? And what is the Price differance?
It's the weight/durability that is the diff. The Socom is only 8.5 lbs frame and coil shock. The M6 is at least a pound more, but they won't say. The Socom is .25 shorter wheelbase and steeper headtube= more maneuverable
Longer wheelbase and slacker HT= stability at higher/WC speeds and impacts. Not to mention that you ride what the Manufacturer you race for gives you. Not to say that they wouldn't use a Socom also in the stable of bikes. New New New! Don't forget, they are trying to sell bikes....and it's the latest design so it's likely better too!
i want a large m6 so god dam bad i could shit in my hand and motor boat it. anyone selling one in red or blue? help a brother out
the twenty6 pedals are so nice but they are just to expensive hardly anybdy will be able to afford them they should make a much cheaper verson
