I have seen a few pics of Whitefish Montana's Katie Hayes in action lately and a few days ago she uploaded a promo video of herself from the end of last season and some of her early season riding to the site. Have a look at what this girl has been up to so far and hopefully it inspires more of you ladies out there to hop on your rides and push your limits too.

Great video and good rider! But man that music was annoying. Major Props though. This sport needs more girls in it. I haven't been able to figure out why they don't go as big as the men...

Props for that riding skills. I think girls just started to race active in a "extreme"-sport like this. Most of them train with male riders who are longer in that business, so i think it won't take long if they reach the point when they can mess with male riders.

Also I like the music, it`s from my favourite german band Big Grin

Yea, personally Id like to see their videos to compare to. It'd be nice to see some other girls shred, not many have footage, let alone videos.

I can see quite a bit of Spencer Mtn. (Whitefish, MT.) Big ups to the reggae soundtrack and Montana! I think it's great that she's put together this snippet of her riding!

Spencer mtn and Big Mtn. The trails on Spencer are unbelievable right now It seems like there are new features almost daily. That was a great video mad props Katie good luck in the future.

good rider, but just an average freerider, many non-pros can do that stuff, you know??!? dont mean to be sexist but if she were a boy and at that same level, she wouldn't be close to pro.

yeah, the sport is evoilving a lot nowaday's girl's seem to get the ang of it, i've seen more girl's riding, not many but i notice that they are starting to like and to pratice, that's great!!

To the two guys above that said she doesn't have to worry about 'nutting' herself if she fails her no-footer, did you know that girls also have a very sensitive organ between their legs? Unlike some of you guys, bike frames don't disciminate - boy or girl, if you shred, you shred, if you get it wrong, you'll be crying in a crumpled heap!

I ride those trails a lot and this video doesnt do her or the stunts justice. I know a lot of guys that dont hit those stunts. The video could have been shot at better angles to show the size of the stunts.
