If that was the case, Hill wouldn't have put on the WC Leaders jersey on the podium. Also, Peaty and Minnaar were super close going into this round, so how could Greg have extended his lead by over 200 points by finishing down in 30 somthing when Peaty was second? Somthing tells me you didn't watch the race.
Hill is in first by the smallest of margins, Peaty is second and Minnaar is third.

that is the final rank from last year, i believe... for some reason UCI isn't updating it, which is pretty odd, being them the authority for the sport...
Sorry guys, i just assumed the uci website would be up to date. Seems strange that they haven't as they run the thing.
The UCI link you've put up Byangoma is the 2009 UCI World Ranking - which is updated every two months or so - and is mistaken all the time for the World Cup Rankings. The UCI rankings take into account all UCI Category events and are a little bit of a nonsense because events like the Oceania's, Asian and PanAmerican Championships get as many points as the European Championships.

"I dropped out a school....we'll figure that out later!" Sam Hill when asked if he has the points lead. Soooooooooo Funnnnnnnnnny! The streak starts now.

What is happening with Gee Atherton lately! He doesn't seem to be getting any good results compared to last year. Let down
