Corsair Bikes is based out of Seattle Washington and are now ready for public consumption! That's right, we've shown you the bikes over the past season as they've gone through the prototype stages, but now each and every Corsair bike is in stock and ready for you to enjoy.
Check out the AM bike, the Marque and the Ducat hard tail inside:

The Ducat is Corsair's answer to the robust hard tail that you can do pretty much everything on. Replaceable drop outs (MAXLE option available), adjustable head tube angle and ISCG tabs make the Ducat ready for abuse.
Check out Chris Smith on his Ducat and Konig bikes from Corsair:
Corsair's All Mountain offering, the Marque bombs trails with its just over 5 inches of travel. Made to climb and descend, the Marque is the bike for the riders looking to get a lot more fun out of their trail rides. Check out the hollow seat stay too!
Doug from Corsair has a long history in the mountain bike parts and accessories areas of MTBs and you'll see this on all Corsair bikes. Here are a few goodies from the Ducat:

Nice looking bikes.
Hmmm, literature on their website makes the chaingrowth sound very small. Why do you say the chaingrowth is large?
Will that chain slap around on that frame now. Where most of us ride with old tubes to protect the frame this looks like the chain is going to do some damage to the bike. Personally I like my chain where its at, not in my frame.
hard tail looks ok but i really don't like the suspension ones, probably the naked chainring and the super skinny tubing.
you ever seen the suspension animations they have on their site? They have a ton of chain growth, just because one pivot isolates some doesn't mean it eliminates it.
NorCalNomad, I am really curious as to how you came to this conclusion seeing as how the bike in the animation doesn't even have a chain on it. Anyway, the chain growth is minimal, read up on it. There are many single high pivot bikes out there and they all use a pulley at the pivot to get around this issue. Not only does it help eliminate the chain growth but it helps them to pedal better too. I'm not expert on the subject but I have had the luxury to ride this design before and I can comment with some degree of credibility about the benefits of the design. Have you ridden one or is this just speculation on your part?
It's a high pivot bike. The pulley at top solves the problem with pedal feedback, but the high pivot point allows the bottom chain to extend or grow under suspension compression.
...so where do you bolt on the mudguards? it's all pretty but looks like no fun when it's muddy...maybe I'm wrong
Ahahaha! MUD GUARDS? We 'ere dont use mudguards...In the wet, the only way is the muddy way
Thats what makes it so fun

correct me if im wrong but shurly were the chain is routed through the chainstay whilst freewheeling on ruff bits shurly the chain will be making a relay annoying clink twang smack noise as it bounces all around the inside or have they fitted a nylon guide or something?
other than that they both look sick
other than that they both look sick
look closely there is a roller in there, should deflect som of the noise, the probably also have a bash guard material pad or something above the roller, just guessing on that part though
the design quality of those frames is some of the best i've ever seen, shame they're so damned expensive!
can't get my head round how the suspension works on the marque, it's all upside down! think I need to see a vid of it being compressed, and also hows that front deraileur fitted there's no clamp around the down tube. any ideas?
loving the hardtail though!
oh and chris smith rules!

its a "pulley" system. theres a concentric pivot around the bottom bracket. when the rear triangle lifts up at the rear pivot, a link between the triangle and the pivot pulls the link, compressing the shock. if thats too complicated, look at the animations on the corsair site
nod..still want to see the actual pivot piece and how it is installed around the bb. seems like a very unique and clever single pivot

Longest ETT available for the Marque is only 23.6"? Um. As a 6'3"+ rider I can definitely say NO SALE. I get the shorter top tubes on the FR/DH bikes, but AM bikes should be available in a full range of sizes.
Otherwise looks like a killer bike if you're an average dude.

looks like a decent oriented, but a climbable bike, with stronger A.M. parts. for the Ontarian crews! (and slightly "greyed" riders, ["old but not old school"] )

The Marque has a very unorthadox geometery, the frame is extremely low slung and the rear triangle looks quite compressed. It seems like this would create great standover height and low, DH like center of gravity. 5 inches of travel seems a little low (competition has 6 to 7), but if it pedals well and isn't too heavy it could be a solid AM contender.
The bike has similar geometry to others in its class and it is adjustable. Since it has a high pivot most of the wheel travel is rearward. A 5" travel bike will feel like 7". A 7" travel bike will feel more like 10". The travel feels really deep due the rearward axel path. It absorbs square edge hits really well and maintains its momentum very well over these hits. The low center of gravity is a nice bonus in addition to this.
I have a ducat, Really nice frame! I bought it last year to replace my broken ellsworth specialist. And i was really impressed with the quality. Especially being half the price of the Ellsworth's.
My Marque has no real noticeable chain growth and very little noise (maybe because of the MRP guide) and it rides just about anything I point it at. The front deraillieur is an e-type removed from the bracket and bolted to the frame- like an SX Trail
