They mentioned his old accomplishment as winning the original Rampage so I chose to use an old shot as opposed to a Sun Peaks logo.

We do give acknowledgment to Andrew for winning the Men's category. 3rd paragraph. And yes we are very proud of our two rider's accomplishments.

Tells me that the fast racers are digging the TLD pants.

He's not full of himself, it's called ribbing and I'm sure Tyler is more than fine with a rider such as Ricky taking a jab at him as one day Tyler will be the older rider taking the younger guys for a rip and giving them some more character.

I hear what you are saying and yes Ricky comes across that way in his writing but it's how he talks. When he says that he tore Tyler a new one he's laughing and smiling about it and it could be that he won a race by one second and he'll give that reply. It's not meant to offend and I'm sure that Tyler and Crowe understand this even if you and lots of the other readers do not.

Huckover you have to realize that this helmet is for XC use and was never intended for anything more "hardcore" than that. Not once in the article does the rider say you should wear it for DH or anything to that effect.

Ya Dre and Ricky were never slated to race BCBR together, perhaps you should ask your source for the details again?

Um Ricky was never signed up as Dre's partner for BCBR, so perhaps your source is wrong.

That is a good point, but I'm taking it that from their stand point and the results they've gathered from team riders and the media that the 44 was the right platform to be working off of.

But nick for a lot of kids it's tough to even get the initial $600 together and that's the idea of the Max Max-a place to start and get out riding. We know that you don't need to go to Dee Traks wheels, but a nice rear rim upgrade can be done for a lot less too.

LIke he mentioned in the article, the wheels weren't up to strength for any type of hard street riding.

This really does look like an amazing event and if I wasn't so lazy I'd like to one day be able to simply survive something like this. Congrats to all the participants!

Kat it really was a fun day of seeing how to play with suspension set ups and watching fast riders pick the good lines and get quicker. The SS is pretty sweet too!

Like DAve below mentioned, a lot of it has to do with the number of Female riders at events. For instance I'm in GOlden BC right now and the winning Male will get $5000 (but there are like 175 guys) and the winning girl will get around $1000 (but there are only about 25 girls off the top), so really the ratio is fairly correct, but no one will ever be fully satisfied but personally I feel those are pretty fair ratios for pay outs based on numbers of riders, not on the course.

That has all changed in the new Shadow rear derailleurs. They are pretty much silent like a SRAM derailleur.

The Domain is a very capable fork and it's more than affordable for the average rider.

The Domain may be an "Entry Level or Affordable" fork, but that doesn't mean that it's not super capable. You don;t always have to spent the most money to get a great value.
