You are so far from the truth that you think you are correct. Take a moment and really look at the two bikes you are comparing and learn about their technologies behind each one and you'll realize that they are not the same.

I depends what you consider hard riding, the Norco 4X is not an XC or a DH bike but if you're gonna jump and spin on it, then ya it's good to go.

The Empire is a nice bike for it's intended use. Asking if it has too little or too much travel is kinda vague. FOr bike parks and jumping it was nice, but I'd never go for a long pedally ride with it.

We should be all good to run it when ever you get it wrapped up. Just drop me a note for a heads up.
